Intro ~
HELLO BEAUTIFUL ANGELS !! <3 I feel so filled with love and gratitude and abundance today. I’m writing to you at 4:14pm at Blue Bottle and the cafe is playing Danny’s Song by Kenny Loggins with a little Jim Croce to follow. Last night leading up to the full moon in Aquarius today, I felt so much tension pressuring around my heart and head-space. Just the intensity of the week energetically is a lot to manage, so if you are/were feeling it, I am right alongside you <3 I often find myself feeling this intensity / energy / fiery / watery movement the day before a new moon or full moon, and once I just let myself feel through it in whatever way I need to, I wake up the next day feeling so clear. Speaking of feeling clear….I am preparing for my trip ! Two weeks from today I will be in Paris. WOW. In February I texted my love (at the time) that I wanted to manifest taking the month of September off work and traveling…and here we are. I don’t even know how I did it really, I can thank my parents and my beloved grandparents for this gift. I am doing a lot to prepare for this month long trip so that I can RECEIVE and ENJOY and BE PRESENT with this blessing.
Lesson Plan ~ Preparing my nervous system for travel
I have been known to have travel anxiety. I have also been known to be totally fine traveling! I like my home space, I don’t love flying, but I do love exploring and having shifts in perspective and being curious and learning new things. and I love the feeling of coming home to California <3 During the time that I am gone, Mercury will be retrograde, some other planet that I don’t remember will be transiting my 12th house, and Saturn will be squaring my moon. What does this all mean? That for me personally at this moment in time, planning ahead will alleviate any stress I may have, and that this is a journey of the soul not just one that my physical body is embarking on.
To help prepare, the month before my trip I booked sessions with some of the amazing healers/women that I consult with. I scheduled one session per week leading up to my departure, and they have helped soothe my nervous system greatly. Part of the reason that those sessions are helping me clear out energy, is because we’re focusing on things that aren’t just travel related, so the more space that we clear out of my heart and head, the more space there is.
I also have cleaned out my closet and scheduled my home to be cleaned before I go, so that I don’t feel like I’m leaving any schmutz behind.
I am batch preparing my newsletters and podcast episodes so that when I’m on my trip the bulk of the work is done and all I have to do is add little tid-bits / photos / inspiration - WHICH I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE !
Rewind one month ago, I was feeling anxious about my trip. I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to let go and enjoy and have fun with my friends and family, that I wouldn’t be able to be present - and as a side note Country Roads just started playing at the cafe now, which the first line is Almost Heaven, West Virginia, which is part of the namesake of this beautiful practice <3 how perfect — anyway back to this from reality. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to take in the beautiful scenery of my travels, but hearing this song right now as I write is even further confirmation for me that I will. That it will be so beautiful. I just love receiving music as signs from my team :)
On a more practical touch point, I am downloading maps and phrases in other languages to my phone in case I don’t have wifi, and going to do a trial run of what I’m packing and how it will fit in my carry-on for a month.
The more I check little things off my to do list in tandem with healing sessions, the more excited and at peace I feel. And the more ready I feel to receive <3
For during travel, here are some things I’m making sure I have on hand ~ an eye mask, a scarf and a hat for the plane to protect my energy, Alexis Smart Remedies First Aid Kit to take periodically, CBD drops, Wooden Spoon Herbs Headache Helper tincture in case, Beekeepers Naturals Propolis Throat Spray, over-the-ear headphones, plug adapter, portable charger, foldable bags inside other bags.
On planes our energy can be heightened, and I find that when I don’t protect myself energetically and physically, I can hear other people’s thoughts and feel their feelings and it is VERY OVERWHELMING. Wearing a hat and a scarf is very helpful for me with this and so is doing a protection meditation before I enter the airport. I want to have all the comforts I need to enjoy my flights and my time in the sky with God in the clouds <3 A beautiful message came through in a healing session last week, my guides said “a bat in a cave or an eagle in the sky, it’s all the same. you’re safe either way.” This puts me at ease too, knowing that whatever I am doing I am safe <3 I am protected <3
