Intro ~

Good morning :) Happy Sunday :) I hope this finds you very cozy in bed and not too hot and not too cold :)

I love how easy it is to wake up early in summer. Our internal body clocks know that we need to be up and out enjoying the sun, there is so much space and expansiveness. I feel like this month big things are clicking into place for me. Such as…this Wednesday the Almost Heaven RADIO ! podcast (re)launches ! It’s interesting because having a podcast is something that I have really not been interested in, but people have always asked/suggested that I have one. In May, I heard my very calm quiet intuitive voice offer the suggestion of, “maybe you should start a podcast?” And at this point I know that listening to that voice is non-negotiable. So here we are hahah, I’m starting a podcast about spirituality.

I’m very curious to see what this new path opening brings and what it teaches me. My hope is that it is a point for you to touch into your own internal landscape and that by hearing my stories you feel inspired to free yourself and to know that you are not alone in what you are navigating.

Lesson Plan ~ Integrating Timelines

Last week (read here), I shared about healing gently and meeting resistance that we can feel around healing. That trusting our "things" will come up to be observed and loved-on in perfect divine timing. That the universe will never send us something or guide us to something that we are not ready for. One lesson that has become so abundantly clear to me, is that when we heal something, it takes time for our bodies and hearts and minds to integrate these new ways of being. And THAT is something that I feel SO grateful for!!

It is proof that change occurs in our small day to day habits, rituals and routines. A recent example in my personal life, is that in a session with my mentor Ali, it came to surface that it was time for me to move on from a hyperawareness that I had around my body/my skin. It wasn’t something that was bloody apparent or I would call a massive block, but it was subtle and would come and go. I was aware of this, but didn’t really know how to change or address it on my own, especially since it was so subtle but so present. Which is something sacred about working with a healer/teacher/mentor/therapist who you trust, that they can provide a strong container to bring things to light and heal them alongside you.

Although this specific session was on a very energetic level, my habits HAVE changed over the last month. My posture has changed, and my whole body has evened out and become more symmetrical in my stance and muscle structure. It is something I’ve noticed very slowly, but also something that every time a reflex of wanting to look in the mirror appears, the voice in my head gently says “no, you don’t need to do that anymore sweet love”. And it’s true. It’s not me punishing or forcing myself to change, it is me honoring the new me of who I am. The integration of healing and change deepens with each opportunity that we have for reinforcement. I feel grateful to be presented with opportunity after opportunity to show up differently / to show up as my Highest Self / my most True and current self. The slowness, the feminine appreciation for the process.

If you’re into Tarot, the Queen of Wands is someone who is married to the process rather than being married to the destination. It is much more fun, and much easier, when we let go of controlling our endings and are riding the wave of life. Or something like that ;)

with heaps of gratitude and love,

Gaby

Spark ~

(a few things currently sparking joy/curiosity/inspiration)

This week I had the privilege of attending the Fleet Foxes concert at The Greek theatre. To get to see my favorite band with my dear friend Talia who had just returned to town, under the beautiful tall trees at Griffith Park, with my favorite smell of California dirt circulating in the air, was a deeply resonant experience. Just closing my eyes and hearing them play in front of me, I could feel the portal of my heart spiraling open <3

Ive been thinking about money management and the method that Natalia Benson teaches on. I like how she suggests creating different bank accounts for different life goals / income / expenses / etc, and I'm considering signing up for her course.

I started surfing!! and running! and I got a tennis racket! Wish me luck on this new endeavor of being athletic. It feels so good.

Lastly, I was so excited about my friend Caroline's c*nt themed birthday party, and I wore this lipstick color by BYREDO.

~ thank you thank you thank you ~

* see you next week, sending you beams of Reiki love through the ethers from my heart to yours *
